After the commercial success of “Ikaw Pa Rin”, here comes the new single “dear EX” which will serve as Raffy’s first offering with his label, Polyeast Records. The new single is a collaboration with his friends and fellow musicians, Josh David (co-arranger) and Daryll Ong.

Raffy’s melodic lines with poetic sincerity, he considers the new single his most personal composition yet. “I wrote the song when I was in Bahrain working as a band vocalist in 2018. I thought of writing the song and express my sentiments over my ex. I can say that I have already moved on from that past relationship, which was three years ago, but I’m still thankful for the memories that led me to write this song ” Raffy shared.

“The song is about a guy showing weakness, struggle of moving on from his ex because he loved her deeply. May karapatan din ang mga kalalakihan na magpakita ng kanilang kahinaan at hindi kami parati ang ‘strong’ sa isang relationship.”

Raffy said he hopes the song will speak to people going through a similar experience and help them get through past relationships.
